This layout was desaturated after it had already been up. Before I editted it, it was brown and sort of ugly, so I desaturated it to a mostly grey color, and it made such a huge difference that the layout turned from disgusting to impressive. This layout recieved many compliments, and was used as an example on a popular website to desaturate to make layouts less bright and painful to the eyes. This was the second layout created, as a showcase of Harienju, ever made using tables. I was just learning how to use tables to organize my content better, and this was one of the products.

I am torn between this version and version five when it comes to choosing my best of 2006. These two were the first products of learning to use tables, and they were both well recieved. This was aligned to the left, but it was obvious where the eye should wander.
